Now Available for Testing! This software allows publishers to create all necessary metadata for an S-Link-S URL. This could be information about the provider of the linkable resource, such as (1) names, identifiers and name abbreviations for the cited articles, (2) how to use the URL strings, (3) the nature of the resource that the link leads to, and (4) the expected longevity and reliability of the link.
Now Available for Evaluation License! This application allows linkers to access the S-Link-S database, in order to create URL's from article information, such as year, issue, volume, etc.
Linkifier
For smaller journals who want to be included in the S-Link-S system but have an incompatible filing hierarchy, the Linkifier will make them accessible to the S-Link-S community. It is a Java-based servlet that will perform intermediary translation functions to incoming requests.
Central Database
Openly Informatics will maintain a secure database of linking methods. This will be a central resource where linkers can obtain linking method specifications from journals scattered all around the globe. There will be multiple levels of access, depending on user's account status.
